I bought this cereal for the first time last week. The flavor is great, but the cranberries are so gummy , hard, and sticky that it’s a chore to eat. My box seems to have a ton of cranberries in it too, so in order to get through the bowl without feeling like I’m pulling out my fillings I have to pick out all the cranberries and throw them out, which, aside from being a waste, removes most of the delicious cranberry ginger flavor along with them. :( I like Nature’s Paths cereals but unfortunately will not be buying this one again.

Thanks for getting in touch

Thanks for getting in touch with us Kara. We’re so sorry to hear you had this experience. Some companies use preservatives to keep their berries tender and soft, but because we are an organic company our products don’t contain artificial preservatives, additives or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and the ingredients are not grown with toxic pesticides, chemical fertilizers or fumigants. We want you to find your favorite Nature’s Path cereal Kara, so please email Nicolette at consumerservices@naturespath.com and include a scan or photo of the expiry date flap and we’ll be sure to reimburse you. Take care, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

Where are the cranberries?

Where are the cranberries? Are you guys skimping on the best part of the cereal? I actually sifted through my box and came up with what maybe equated two cranberries.

Thanks for getting in touch

Thanks for getting in touch with us Whitney. We’re so very sorry you were disappointed by this. Our cranberries are fed through a vibratory feeder by weight and they sometimes get stuck together so when you pour some into a bowl, sometimes you’ll get tons of berries, and sometimes not that many. Conventional companies use chemicals to separate the berries, but since we’re an organic company we don’t add that gross stuff to our products. We’re working on the issue though and hope to have a consistent amount of cranberries falling into every bowl. As per our quality guarantee please email a scan or photo of the expiry date flap to Nicolette at consumerservices@naturespath.com and she’ll be sure to reimburse you. All the best Whitney! Hi Sheldon, thank you for

Hi Sheldon, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We regret to hear that you found the cranberries in our cereal to be so hard. High fiber cereals, such as this one, tend to extract the moisture out of dried fruit. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are in the process of investigating this issue. Best, Emily from Nature’s Path

When will Optimum

When will Optimum Cranberry-Ginger be back on grocery store shelves?  It’s my favorite cereal and I would be devastated to find that it is not going to be available any more.

Thanks for your question! You

Thanks for your question! You can either ask you local grocery store to make a special order for you, or you can click here http://www.naturespath.com/find-retailer to find a local Nature’s Path retailer. And yet another option is to purchase Nature’s Path products over our website at www.naturespath.com. I hope this helps! All the best, Jamie, Nature’s Path Team

I live in Nashville, TN, and

I live in Nashville, TN, and haven’t been able to find the Cranberry/Ginger cereal lately!  It is my favorite breakfast cereal, and I am beginning to wonder if it is being discontinued?  Or, if there is a production problem, how long will it be before it is back on the store shelves?  I don’t even see a place for it on the shelves of the two main grocery stores where I have bought it for a long time (Publix and Kroger.)  I was concerned when the name was changed from Optimum Zen a year or so ago, but relieved to find that is was the same great cereal, with a new name.  But now I don’t see it under any name. Help, please! Kat

Hi Caseycat! I’m pleased to

Hi Caseycat! I’m pleased to inform you that this amazing cereal is still in production. Ask your local grocery store to make a special order for you , or if you click here: http://www.naturespath.com/find-retailer you will find other local retailers who may carry it. I also suggest calling the retailer first to see if they carry the specific cereal you are looking for before you make the trip to the store. Once again, a box of product

Once again, a box of product without fruit. This time it was Cranberry Ginger but the same is happening with Blueberry Cinnamon. What is going on??? I am switching to Cascadia Farms products for now!

Hi there, thanks for sharing

Hi there, thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that your cereal did not contain enough cranberries. We meter them into the box by weight from a vibratory feeder, and at times the cranberries join together to form a sticky clump. Non-organic companies use extra chemicals to separate the fruit which can impact their nutrition negatively. We take your comments very seriously and are working towards solving this problem to improve our consistency. Best, Emily from Nature’s Path
